Animal husbandry
At Blue lacks International School , we believe in providing practical, hands-on learning experiences alongside classroom education. Animal husbandry is one of the key agricultural activities we offer to help students understand the importance of responsible animal care, food production, and sustainability. Through this program, students learn how to raise and manage domestic animals such as
cows, goats, chickens, and rabbits. They gain valuable skills in:
Feeding and nutrition
Animal health and hygiene
Breeding practices
Housing and shelter
Record keeping and management
The animal husbandry unit not only promotes skills development in agriculture and veterinary science but also encourages discipline, teamwork, and environmental responsibility. Our goal is to prepare students to become self-reliant and possibly start their own animal-related projects in the future.
By integrating animal husbandry into our curriculum, we help students appreciate the value of animals in everyday life and explore real-world careers in agriculture, farming, and veterinary fields.
